Mac Cosmetics Makeup Haul

It’s been awhile since I’ve done some “makeup shopping damage.” I receive a lot of great products in my subscription boxes and really only go shopping for the products that aren’t sent.
I had a list of things that I’ve been wanting/needing to pick up from Mac and I finally made my way down there.

I started using Mac products about two years ago and I have fallen in love.  I feel like I purchase more products there now then Sephora.  I didn’t have a ton of time to shop so I went in there for just a few things and will be back to get a few more later on.

Here are the five products I purchased.  I will be posting swatches of everything later on.

Mac lipstick in “Taupe.”  I’ve been wanting to try this lipstick for a long time.  I love natural shades and this looks like it would be beautiful.  It is a matte finish.

Mac Studio Finish Concealer in NW20.  This is my favorite concealer I have ever tried.  A little bit goes a long way.  It is a thicker concealer, but doesn’t cake up and won’t budge if set with a powder.  I’ve repurchased this quite a few times.

Mac eye shadow in “Woodwinked.”  I love my neutral eyeshadows and this definitely belongs in my eyeshadow palette.  This is a veluxe pearl finish.

Mac pigment in “Copper Sparkle.”  I went into Mac looking for a beautiful copper eyeshadow.  I kind of shocked myself because I normally stick to my basic neutrals.  But with spring and summer coming up, I was craving something different.  I played around with some eyeshadows, but when I saw this it drew me in.  It is a VERY bold pigment.  A little bit definitely goes a long way.  I think it’s going to take a little getting used to on my part, but it’s a nice change.

And lastly…Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in “Medium Golden.”  Normally I purchase drugstore powders.  I have fallen in love with Rimmels Stay Matte powder.  I have heard amazing things about this powder and finally gave in and purchased it.  It is WAY more expensive than Rimmel’s powder at $32, but it felt so soft and blended beautifully into my skin.  I need to test this some more, but I will be comparing it to my usual powders to see if it is worth 3-4 times the money.

I probably could/would have purchased more if I didn’t stop myself.  Mac is always coming out with new products and new collections and they lure me in.

Do you love Mac products?  Let me know what products you love.
