March 2015 Birchbox

My March Birchbox came in yesterday and I am soooo excited! I opted to go with the curated box because there were so many products I was eager to try.

  1. Laura Geller Beauty Baked Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Grapefruit:

I’ll admit this product sealed the deal for me.  I love baked blush and have wanted to try a Laura Geller product for a long time.  The color is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for Spring!  2

2. Dear Clark Volumizing Hair Tonic:

I have been trying a lot of volumizing hair sprays and am happy to try out another one.  A lot that I have tried have left my hair dry and stiff.  This is said to add bounce, lift and shine.

3.  Whish Three Whishes Body Butter-Almond:

My hands have been super dry lately.  I have lotion in every room of my house, in my purse, in the car etc.  So I am all for receiving another lotion.  The scent is not what I imagined though.  I was assuming it would be a sweet almond scent and, to me, it has a sharper and stronger smell.  It’s not offensive though so I will still be using it.

4. Supergoop! Advanced SPF 37 Anti-Aging Eye Cream:

I was really excited to try this product.  I love trying out new creams.  Unfortunately, the size is really really small.  I tried to squeeze some of the product out and it’s pretty much empty.  😦  Oh well.

5. derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Creme SPF 15:

Last month I received a face scrub from this brand and loved it.  I was excited to try out another product from derma e.  I feel this is a pretty good sample size.  I love that this is cruelty free, paraben free and 100% vegan.

Overall, I do really love this box and feel it is a good value.  I am just disappointed in the sample size of the supergoop eye cream.  I will be trying out these products over the next week or so and will post reviews of them.

  1. I got the same box! I also wish the Supergoop! eye cream was larger, but I feel like all samples from this brand are small in general 😦

    1. I completely agree. That’s what drove me to sign up for Ipsy too. Ipsy gives out amazing samples and I have rarely received a super small sample. Hopefully one day Birchbox will change this!! What did you think about the rest of the products you received?

      1. I actually just subscribed to ipsy because it seems like they send out a lot of full-sized products! I’m kind of indifferent to lotions in general, but I’m excited about the blush!

      2. I think that’s the main reason why I went with this box. The blush is such a beautiful color!!
