Review: Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin B12 Cream

For those of you who have followed me for a while, you know I have very sensitive skin. What you don’t know is that I have eczema. Thankfully it’s not too terrible. Eczema causes areas of my skin to feel itchy and then I usually get a rash soon after. It looks worse than it really is. It appears on my face, back, around my knees, and my upper arms. If anything, it just makes me super self-conscious. When I have an eczema flare-up, I try to cover it with my clothing so no one can see it. I’ve come to find that using scented products like body wash and lotion make it worse and so I avoid them.
I’m always looking for products to help relieve my eczema and I think I’ve found one.

I’ve been using Maxasorb Vitamin B-12 Cream from the brand Vita Sciences. This is a multi-purpose product. It contains vitamin B-12 which has been known to have anti-aging and moisturizing properties. This makes it great for those who have eczema, psoriasis or just dry and itchy skin.

This is formulated without parabens and is made with natural ingredients. I also love that it is made in the USA.

I love that this doesn’t have a heavy scent or fragrance which would make the dryness worse. It is hypo-allergenic so that’s fantastic.

The directions say to rub two full pumps (which is one dose) into skin once a day or as needed. I found it absorbed quickly once rubbed into my skin and didn’t feel greasy.

So did it work? It brought relief as soon as I applied it. I usually have to re-apply lotion throughout the day otherwise my rashes become much worse. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my dry spots had significantly improved within two days of using Maxasorb B12. Even my family noticed the dryness was reduced and wasn’t as prominent. A few days later my dry patches were barely recognizable.

Maxasorb B12 didn’t irritate my skin or cause any side effects. I found that using it once a day was just enough to bring relief to my dry skin.

The best part? This is very affordable. It is around $20 and contains thirty doses. I think it is a great alternative to using B-12 patches or B-12 injections.

If you suffer from psoriasis, eczema or dry skin then give it a try!
