My Beauty Empties

I’ll admit it.  Hanging on to my “trash” felt a little strange.  I actually feel satisfied finishing up a product and throwing it into the trash.  It’s an accomplishment.  It shows commitment.  I followed through.

So after I’m done typing this post, I will lovingly say goodbye to my faithful products and start relationships with some new ones.

  1. Eco-Beauty by La Fresh Group Good Day Day Moisturizer

I received this in my January ipsy bag.  I really loved this moisturizer and my skin loved it too.  It didn’t cause any irritation and left my skin with a beautiful glow.  I will post my full review of this product here

Buy or Bye?

I would absolutely purchase this.  It is pricy, but I loved what it did for my skin.

2.  Covergirl Lipslicks Smoochies Sizzle Gloss in Date Night

I was obsessed with clear glitter gloss all throughout Junior High and High School.  Why?  It made my lips pop and was an added bonus on top of lipstick.  When I saw this gloss at the store, all those memories came flooding back to me.  Before I knew what I was doing, that gloss ended up in my shopping cart.  It was fun to use again, but I wasn’t too impressed by the formula.  Not bad, but not my favorite either.

Buy or Bye?

I won’t be repurchasing this.  Again, not because there’s anything bad about it.  It’s just time to leave the past in the past.  🙂

3.      Bee All Natural Organic Lip Balm in Grapefruit

I received this in my August 2014 Ipsy bag.  I was really excited about this product because I’ve never tried an organic lip balm.  The skin around my lips is extremely sensitive and this worked so well for me.  It was moisturizing and didn’t irritate my skin or my lips.  I finished this awhile ago and keep forgetting to replace it.

Buy or Bye?

I would definitely purchase this.

4.      derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Day Creme SPF 15

I received this in my March birchbox.  I loved the derma e cleanser I received in my February box and was excited to try this out.  Unfortunately, I wasn’t too impressed.  The sunscreen gave my skin a weird grey tint and it wasn’t moisturizing enough for me.

Buy or Bye?

I wasn’t impressed enough with this to purchase.

5.  Tarina Tarantino Conditioning Lip Sheen in Watermelon Wow

This came from my August Boxycharm.  I absolutely loved this lipstick.  It was really moisturizing and yet nicely pigmented.  It had pretty good staying power and the color was so beautiful.

Buy or Bye?

Absolutely buy!  I will be purchasing this same shade and others as well.

6.  Supergoop! Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream

This was another Birchbox product.  I was a little upset with the size of this sample.  I was able to squeeze out a week’s worth.  I wasn’t impressed with this.  The SPF left a grey cast which is not something I want around my eye area.  It also wasn’t moisturizing enough for me.

Buy or Bye?

I won’t be purchasing this product.

7.  Tarina Tarantino Fleur de Lash Mascara in Black Opal

Another Boxycharm product!  I was hoping I would fall in love with this, but that wasn’t the case.  Maybe I just got a bad batch or something.  It was very dry and flaky.  It wasn’t black enough for me and did absolutely nothing for my lashes.

Buy or Bye?

This just isn’t for me.

8.  Palmetto derma Collagen Booster & Restoration Serum

Boxycharm again!  Thankfully, this didn’t irritate my skin.  I didn’t notice any change in my skin and wasn’t impressed with it.

Buy or Bye?

I won’t be purchasing this.

9.  Rimmel Stay Glossy Lipgloss in All Night Long

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!  I have at least six other shades.  This claims to last up to 6 hours which never happens.  It isn’t sticky nor is it too thin.  I love the shimmer in this as well.

Buy or Bye?

I will continue re-purchasing this as long as they continue making it!

Have a beautiful and wonderful day!

xoxo Lizzie ♥
