Boy! Did yesterday feel like Christmas! Not only did I receive one subscription, but I received TWO!! I also received my Ipsy bag yesterday. I will leave the link here in case you are interested in seeing what I received. June Ipsy
Birchbox is a $10 monthly subscription service that sends out 5 beauty samples.
You fill out a very simple beauty profile and they send you products based on that. I’ve noticed Birchbox sends out primarily hair and skin products and very little makeup.
I love the theme for this month. It’s all about Adventure and Saying Yes! The other great thing about this month is that everyone was given a code (and everyone won something!) I received 20% off my next purchase of $50+ on Birchbox.com. Not the most exciting prize….but I’m grateful for it!
This is a leave-in mist that locks in color, adds silkiness and protects from heat damage. It is…
- paraben and sulfate-free
- Instant detangler
- UV protector
- Seals cuticles
- Smoothes hair
- Adds shine
- Safe to use daily
- Good for all hair types
Phew! That’s a lot of things! It has a similar (if not the same) scent as their beauty oil.
This is available in 9 different colors.
This is a blendable, waterproof eyeliner that goes on smoothly and is long wearing. I’m a little unsure of the color (it’s outside my comfort zone), but I want to see if I can make it work.
Thankfully, this is hypo-allergenic and perfume free so I shouldn’t have an allergic reaction to it!
These are meant to reduce the appearance of puffiness and fine lines while working to brighten, firm and soothe delicate undereye skin. It contains a blend of Icelandic glacial water, Arctic cloudberry and cranberry seed oils, pure molecular oxygen, and six essential minerals.
You just place this on the under eye area for up to 10 minutes. That’s it!
Because of my allergies, and lack of sleep, these will be amazing!
This hydrates, evens tone, controls shine, lightly masks imperfections and calms skin. It contains light-reflecting pigments that infuses skin with radiance.
It is hypoallergenic, gluten-free, perfume-free, and oil-free which is great for those with sensitive skin.
It is also rich in antioxidants and aloe.
I’m really excited to give this a try. A lot of bronzing bb creams have irritated my skin so I’m hoping this will be perfect for me!
This is made with 70% certified organic ingredients and protects from both UVA and UVB rays. It features vitamin C-rich strawberry extracts to soothe and tone lackluster skin and also contains age-reversing antioxidants.
This also has a light and refreshing cucumber scent that is very soothing.
Everyone received a lifestyle extra this month. I think it was to make up for the fact that they didn’t give everyone the Eyeko fat liquid liner as advertised. Some received this hair tie and others received a sectioning clip. I personally love Emi Jay hair ties so this was perfect for me!
They are handmade, hand-dyed and (best of all) won’t snag hair.
I really love the products I received this month. They may not have me super excited, but I know I will get great use out of everything.
What did you get in your box this month? Has anyone had any experience with any of these products? Let me know!
