This is available in two shades: naturally beige & warm beige
I purchased this is naturally beige. It looks like the powders run darker so keep that in mind. I’ll admit-I wasn’t expecting a whole lot out of this product. I was really surprised by how much I ended up loving it! It’s a finely milled powder that is so smooth. It did get a little powdery when I pressed my brush into the product, but that didn’t translate onto my face.
It gave such a beautiful natural coverage while covering up shine and setting my makeup. If you’re expecting a completely matte finish I wouldn’t recommend this product. But if you want a natural finish then this is great.
It didn’t cake up or sink into my fine lines. It is a more sheer finish so I wouldn’t recommend using this as a powder foundation. I wore this both over bb cream and another time over foundation and it looked amazing with both.
I did get shiny around the 3-4 hour mark and had to re-apply powder. This definitely won’t keep you looking matte all day. But when I re-applied the product I was back to looking great. It didn’t cake up and still looked very natural.
I didn’t experience any breakouts or allergic reactions to this product.
I am pleasantly surprised! I really love this product. My go to powder has been Rimmel’s stay matte. The only downfall for me is that it does look a little cakey and powdery without a setting spray. But it does keep me looking shine free all day. I think this NYC powder is perfect for the Spring and Summer when you are going for a more natural looking finish. I would recommend giving it a try!
Have a beautiful day!
