Good morning everyone!
Let’s be honest for a second. How many beauty products do we buy in a month?
I’ll go first. I buy way too many things!!!! Darn beauty companies put out new things all the time and I can’t just walk past them. That would be rude. Okay….maybe it’s just that I’m weak and have absolutely no willpower.
Either way..I buy a lot. There are certain products that stand out to be and quickly become staples in my everyday routine, and there are others and just flop.
This post is all about those heaven scent products that I will continue re-purchasing until the day they are discontinued (which I hope never happens!)
1. Clinique Moisture Favorites Travel Trio-$18
I purchased this trio a few months ago at Sephora for $18. I’ve love that Clinique products are gentle on my sensitive skin and have never caused irritation. My two favorite products are definitely the moisturizer and the moisture surge mask.
They worked really well in the winter when my skin was more dry and my usual moisturizer wasn’t cutting it.
I will definitely be purchasing the full size products come Fall/Winter.
I have a review on this trio which I will leave here if you’d like to read it.
2. NYC BB Radiance Perfecting Powder-$3.99
This product really shocked me. I wasn’t expecting much from it as it was so inexpensive. Plus, NYC products have never really wowed me in the past. Well….I take all of that back! This powder is my new favorite!
It doesn’t overly mattify, but does get rid of shine. It has a beautiful natural finish so your skin still looks like skin.
The powder is very finely milled and is so silky!
3. L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick-$7.99-9.99
L’Oreal has never been one of my favorite makeup brands. They’ve always added a heavy fragrance to their products that my skin and nose absolutely hated. Lately, they have done away with that scent and their new infallible products are fragrance free!
I initially purchased two shades in this line and have since gone back to pick up more. The color stays so well on my lips and is very comfortable.
I will leave my full review here: L’Oreal infallible lipstick
4. Mac Matchmaster foundation-$35
I’ve tried a few foundations from Mac. Two of my favorite are the prolongwear and studio fix fluid.
One of the ladies at Mac was wearing this foundation and it looks absolutely beautiful on her. She highly recommended I try it and I am so glad I did! This is perfect for everyday wear. It is very lightweight and has good staying power. It is not as heavy coverage as prolongwear and studio fix fluid. Those I save for more special occasions now.

5. L’Oreal La Palette Nude 2-$15.00-19.99
Normally, I wouldn’t spend this much on a drugstore palette. I have not had the best experiences with drugstore eye shadows before. They are usually too powdery or not very pigmented.
I am happy to say this palette wasn’t powdery or lacking in pigmentation. The colors are stunning and blend so easily. They also have great lasting power. I stayed away from the la palette 1 because I have a ton of shadows in that color family.
