Happy Friday everyone!!! Today I will be revealing what I received in my July Birchbox! Birchbox is a $10 monthly subscription service that sends out 5 beauty samples. You fill out a very simple beauty profile and they send you products based on that. I’ve noticed Birchbox sends out primarily hair and skin products and very little makeup. This month’s theme is: Go Bold The box is absolutely adorable! I love the bold and almost Aztec looking design. Juara Radiance Enzyme Scrub Sample: Full Size=$38
Gentle exfoliator that minimizes imperfections and leaves skin glowingly smooth.
This scrub is expensive!!! But it actually sounds really interesting. It contains a blend of bamboo and jojoba beads as well as apply enzyme. You can also use it as an enzyme mask. I love having options!!!! Coola SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray Sample: Full Size=$36
Weightless, matte-finish mist that sets your look, hydrates skin, and blocks UV rays.
This sounds like the perfect product for the Summer! This contains cucumber and aloe vera extracts which is fantastic for your skin. It says it soothes and softens, locks in moisture and reduces the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Sounds fabulous to me! I cannot wait to try this out! Key West Aloe Save A Tan Sample: Full Size=$12.50
Made with 80% aloe vera, this cream moisturizes, prevents peeling, and preserves sun-kissed color.
I was a little worried when I saw this product as soon as I saw the word tan in the name. I don’t tan and thought this was tanning product. But it looks like it’s just a lotion that helps preserve your tan by sealing in moisture which prevents flaking and fading. Plus, it has a fabulous (and subtle) scent of coconut and key lime which is heavenly! I am planning on tossing this in my purse and using it for my hands and arms. Stila Liquid Lipstick in “Beso”: Full Size=$22
This creamy formula glides on like a gloss yet lasts (and lasts and lasts) like a stain.
Now, I’m not a huge fan of lip stains. They tend to be very drying and super uncomfortable to wear (at least in my experience). Apparently, this is a lightweight formula that not only provides long wear and full coverage, but is also “intensely hydrating.” I’m a teensy bit skeptical, but I hope I am proven wrong! theBalm Cosmetics Balm Desert Bronzer/Blush Sample: Full Size=$21
A blush and bronzer in one, this velvety powder gives a long-wearing, fresh-from-the-beach glow.
I love The Balm’s packaging! They definitely get an A+ for that! It is said to be a fade-resistant formula which is great! I’m a little sad about the sample size though. It’s going to be a little difficult getting a brush in the product without making a mess. I have a smaller blush/contour brush so I am crossing my fingers that will work out. I will most likely be using this more as a blush than a bronzer.
I may also use it as an eye shadow since it’s smaller in size. I can see it working out beautifully that way!
All in all, I’m quite pleased with the products I received this month. I can really see myself getting use out of each one and think they’re all perfectly suited for the summer!
What did you get in your box this month? Has anyone had any experience with any of these products? Let me know!
