Review: Suave Weightless Blow Dry Spray

While browsing around Target the other day I saw a new line of products from Suave.  This product caught my attention and I decided to give it a try.

Around $5 for 5 fl. oz/148ml

Suave Blow Dry Spray, Volumizing Weightless, 5 Ounce

Inspired by the best products in salons, this luxurious collection of products helps make your everyday style look as good as when your stylist does it.  This volumizing weightless blow dry spray is activated with heat to give volume and body that lasts for up to 24 hours.

This product comes in a spray bottle, but it seems that the formula is a little thick for this.  The product is a thin cream consistency.  My biggest concern is that it will clog up the spray nozzle and will become a pain to work with.

This has a perfume-y scent to it.  It’s not a scent that I love, but thankfully, this does not linger.

  1. Apply on damp hair, from roots to ends.
  2. Using a round brush blow dry up and away from face.

I allowed my hair to air dry a little bit and then applied this product.  I focused this more on my roots since I was going for more lift.  It did seem a little sticky at first which is why I avoided using too much and sprayed very little from mid-length to the ends of my hair.

It did give me a little added length, but nothing amazing.  It also helped hold my style better than not using any product at all.

Overall Thoughts:

I do think this product did what it claims.  It did add some volume and did help hold my style.  No, my hair did not look like it does when my stylist does her magic.  No one can get my hair to look that good!

I think for the price it’s good.  Not the best product I’ve ever used, but the products I love are definitely more expensive than this.

Have you tried this out?  Let me know your thoughts!

Have a beautiful and wonderful day!

xoxo Lizzie♥

I agree! I was using their shampoo and conditioner for a while but just bought Pantene Pro – V recently to switch it up a little bit. I really love their Natural Infusion with Awapuhi Ginger line and the light leave-in cream is sooo nice! 🙂

I had some little sample bottles of a Suave dry shampoo and I have to admit it worked pretty well -as good as some leading brands I’ve tried. Nice when you can find good products for less money 🙂
