Ipsy and NYX Eyeshadow Trio

Today I will be reviewing a product I received in my September Ipsy bag.

I was first introduced to NYX through Ipsy.

I had heard so many people rave about them and had started seeing them pop up in Target and Ulta stores.

So far, I’ve tried some of their lipsticks, lipglosses and jumbo eye pencils.  But I had yet to try out their eyeshadow.

I was so excited when I saw I had received this trio in my bag.

The colors are right up my alley.  I am obsessed with neutrals and this instantly looked like the perfect everyday trio palette!

I also liked that they included a black which is perfect for smoking out your eye look and going from day time to evening out instantly!

They aren’t the smoothest shadows or the most pigmented.

You can see in the swatch that the black was the hardest to swatch.

I usually apply two “layers” to build up the colors on these shades.  There really isn’t much fall out from them which is great.

I’ve heard others say they found their trio to be very powdery so I’m thinking they aren’t all the same quality which is a shame!

I’ve been using this practically every day since I received it and I’m in love!

Wishing you a beautiful and wonderful day!

xoxo Lizzie♥
