Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Palettes in Melrose Face and Sphinx Minx

I think Wet n Wild makes some of the best drugstore eyeshadows.

Most of them are really pigmented and great quality for such an affordable price.

I recently stumbled across some new palettes (or maybe just new to me?) and decided to pick them up.

The funny thing is both are really similar to each other color wise.  I guess I have a slight obsession with neutral/brown tones!!!  🙂

Price:

$3.99

Both have five colors and consist of:

  1. Browbone Shade

  2. Base Shade

  3. Eyelid Shade

  4. Crease Shade

  5. Definer Shade

Of course, you don’t have to use them in this way.  It just serves as a great guide if you want an easy guide to application.  But you can always get creative and mix the colors in any way you would like.

All of the shadows are beautifully pigmented and really creamy.  The only shade I had fall out with was the base shade in “Melrose Face”.  It is quite powdery so you definitely need to tap off the excess from your brush before applying (unless you want powder all over your cheeks!!)

Both palettes come with two brushes which are semi-decent.  I typically don’t use the included brushes unless I’m traveling.  I do appreciate them throwing them in there (you know…just in case you need them).

All in all, I am in love with both palettes!  I really love Melrose Face for my everyday eye looks and Sphinx Minx when I want a beautiful smokey eye look.

Wishing you all a beautiful and wonderful day!

xoxo Lizzie♥

  3. Both the palettes look so awesome and they work so good in making festive party makeup looks. Also, the swatches looks so much well pigmented.

    1. Both palettes are very pigmented! They are both great for natural looks and you can intensify them for a bolder look too!
