December 2015 Boxycharm

It is so hard to believe that Christmas is just a few days away! Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays. Not because of the gifts or even the amazing food, but the Christmas season is such a happy and beautiful time. I love spending precious time with my family and friends and showing them love. Plus, the Christmas decorations aren’t bad either! I’m obsessed with all the beautiful lights and Christmas trees!!!

I received my December 2015 Birchbox this week and thought of it as a little Christmas gift to myself!! 🙂

Boxycharm is $21 a month.

You receive five beauty items a month and they are usually all full sized products.

The theme for this month is Pop Fizz Clink!”.

Boxycharm had announced that their would be a bonus item in this month’s box which I think is an awesome gift for Christmas and so nice of them!  So there are six full size products in this month’s box!!

Nelson J Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Mask:  Full Size =$23

Unique 100% Argan Oil derived moisturizing treatment provides long lasting and the most effective result for color-treated, dry, or damaged hair.

Usually I’m not thrilled with receiving hair products, but this one actually sounds amazing.

You can use it in so many different ways.

  • For deep repair
  • For quick repair
  • Protection against chlorine and salt water damage

I am definitely going to use this to get softer more silky hair and will have to try it in the summer as protection from chlorine!

NCLA So Rich Cuticle Oil:  Full Size = $18

Revitalizes and hydrates your cuticles and nails.  The Vitamin E extract paired with sunflower seed oil nourishes your nails and locks in moisture.

This is perfect for me right now.  My cuticles and nails have been so ridiculously dry.

Tatcha petal Fresh Original Aburatorigami:  Full Size = $12

Soft, absorbent leaflets made of 100% natural abaca leaf and gold flake to absorb excess oil without disturbing makeup for petal fresh skin.

Both the packaging and leaflets are gorgeous!

It’s hard to see in the picture, but there really are tiny gold flakes on the paper which is so cute!

I have an oily t-zone and do blot throughout the day so these are perfect for me!

Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow:  Full Size =$15.95

An oil-free lightweight luminizing gel, enriched with micronized pearlescent pigments and jasmine extract to highlight the face for a fresh, radiant complexion.

Bella Pierre Waterproof Gel Lip Liner in “Cinnamon”:  Full Size =$17.99

Can be used to prep lips for Mineral Lipstick, or as an all-over lip color.

I really love this shade.  It is perfect for my neutral colors and I also love it on its own!

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in “Americano”:  Full Size =$19.90

A one step full lip color that does not feather.  It is creamy and soft in texture, moisturizing the lips and creating a long lasting lipstick effect.  Contains antioxidants and Vitamin E.

I was super excited to see this!  I have been dying to try out Ofra’s liquid lipsticks!

I believe there were three different shade options this month: Americano, Honolulu and Mocha.

I’m really happy with the shade I received.  I think it’s perfect for my skin tone.
