Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Palette Trio

For the longest time I did my best to avoid Becca highlighters, mostly because of their high price point.

I mean come on…..$38??  Are you crazy?  I was convinced there was no way they could be worth that much.  Well…once I tried them out…I pretty quickly swallowed my own words (and my pride).

They are pretty darn amazing.  I’m still not sure I love the $38 price tag, but there’s no denying these are strongly pigmented and just plain gorgeous!

When I saw Becca had come out with a trio of highlighters, I knew I had to get it!

The three shades that are included in this trio are:

  • Pearl
  • Champagne Pop
  • Blushed Copper

This shade was just released as a permanent highlighter.  It is described as a soft, luminescent white.

It wasn’t as soft as I imagined it would be, but is gorgeous on the inner corners of the eyes and under the brow bone.

Champagne Pop:

This is described as a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones.

I think this is my favorite shade out of the three.

Again, the texture felt slightly drier than Becca’s full sized highlighters, but it’s not a deal breaker.

Blushed Copper:

This shade is described as a warm copper infused with rose gold tones.

This shade is super pigmented and really needs to be used with a light hand.

(left to right: pearl, champagne pop,  blushed copper)

Now…if you are lighter skinned, I can see Blushed Copper being a little scary and Pearl being scary for deeper skin tones.

The great thing is you can customize these shades by mixing them.  Tone down Blushed Copper by mixing in some Pearl and vice versa.

I really loved using Pearl on my inner eye corner as well as under my brow bone.  I used champagne pop primarily on my cheek bones, bridge of nose and cupids bow and blushed copper made a beautiful blush!

You can even use these shades as eye shadows and even add a little to your lips for an added pop!

What do you guys think?  Have you tried Becca highlighters?  Let me know!

Wishing you a beautiful and wonderful day!

xoxo Lizzie♥

  1. What a perfect trio! Previously, I’m quite well aware about the champagne pop fromBecca before and as you said, the other shades can be used with one as a highlighter and the other as a blush. Great product buy and that states the value of hefty price tag; isn’t it?

    1. It’s a great value! Especially considering the price of one full size highlighter. It’s the perfect way to try out a few different shades. 🙂

I’ve swatched them in store and they look gorgeous but the price point makes me hesitate every time. I have a lot of highlighters right now that I haven’t used as much so I think I should finish them before I try these and especially with the price point.
