Wet n Wild Photofocus Picture Perfect Setting Spray

I used to use setting sprays ALL THE TIME!

They did a great job of keeping me matte and helping my makeup stay on all day.

Since I’ve discovered some amazing foundations that can hold up on their own without the help of a setting spray–I have kind of forgotten about setting sprays all together.

When I was browsing my local drugstore recently, I found Wet n Wild had released a setting spray and was curious to see how it would work out!

Lights, camera, action! This exclusive formula extends makeup wear by preventing cracking, smudging, fading, or creasing. Works with any makeup and all skin types, plus it has aloe to hydrate your skin. One step, perfect!
I love that this has aloe to help hydrate skin.  My combination skin has been ridiculously dry this Winter and I need all the help I can get.
The spray nozzle releases quite a bit of product but it does come out in a fine mist which is nice.  I would definitely keep this a good distance from your face.  You don’t want to spray this too closely.
Did this prevent cracking, smudging, fading and creasing?
Well it did help prevent fading for sure.
I don’t think it has as strong of a hold as Urban Decay’s setting spray, but it gets the job done.
It also doesn’t provide a huge level of hydration so if you have dry skin, you may not love this fact.
But overall, I think it’s great for the price point.
I think it’s great to use on a daily basis.  I just wouldn’t reach for it when I really need my makeup to hold up ALL day!
Hoping you are all having a beautiful and wonderful day so far!
xoxo Lizzie♥
