March 2016 Boxycharm

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are all having an incredible day so far!

My sister surprised me this morning with my favorite coffee!  It was so nice sitting out on my patio together and talking and laughing.  It was the perfect way to start my day!

Today I will be unboxing my boxycharm!  Let’s see what’s inside!

Boxycharm is $21 a month.

You receive five (sometimes 6!!) beauty items a month and they are usually all full sized products.

The theme for this month is Sweet Treats”.

Right away, I noticed that Boxycharm didn’t type out the contents of this box of their card like this usually do.  That bothered me just slightly.

Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris Perfume = $20

Made with notes of ruby red grapefruit and nashi pear, with blends of orange blossom and gardenia and a base layer of patchouli; Style De Paris is a chic scent that is the epitome of spring. Elegant mid notes of violet and ocean breeze will leave the ultimate impression.

You guys know I am really sensitive to fragrances.  I could smell this before I even took it out of the box and it is REALLY strong.  So this will be going to someone else!!  I have a friend who loves perfume so I’m sure she will love trying this.

Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Pencil Full Size! = $18

This fine-tipped mechanical pencil is European designed with a creamy texture for easy application and a flawless, natural look.

I’ve never tried a thin eyebrow pencil like this before so I’m super excited to try it out!  The color looks like it would be good for my medium brown hair.

OFRA Body Illuminizer Full Size! = $39.95

This unique body glow exclusive to BOXYCHARM gives a gorgeous, healthy-looking color to the face and/or body for up to 12 hours. Suitable for all skin tones.

-Body and face glow perfect for highlighting and contouring

-Suitable for all skin types

-Exclusively made for BOXYCHARM!

This sounds like a fun product!  I’m always a little hesitant to try them since I don’t want to end up looking like an oompa loompa.  I do like that this isn’t a self-tanning product though and will temporarily add color and glow.

Luxie Beauty 512 Small Contour Brush Full Size = $16

This is Luxie’s signature pink and rose gold contour brush that is coated with an antibacterial solution, keeping it clean and fresh at all times. The bristles are lush and dense, providing a soft and precise application.

-100% cruelty-free, paraben-free and vegan

I love Luxie brushes!  I’ve received a few in previous subscriptions.  They are of amazing quality and I love the rose gold and pink handle!

I’m not sure if this is from the antibacterial solution, but this has a really strong scent (Like paint).  Has anyone noticed this with their brushes?

Makeup Geek Single Eyeshadow Pans Full Size! = $6 each

These duo chrome shadows have a creamy texture and glide on evenly. They are highly pigmented to provide you with a stunning finish.

These matte shadows have a creamy texture and glide on evenly. They are highly pigmented to provide you with a stunning finish.

All Makeup Geek shadows are both paraben-free and cruelty-free.

I FINALLY get to try Makeup Geek eyeshadows!  I’ve been meaning to purchase some for the longest time and it just keeps slipping my mind.  I’m so glad I get to try one of her matte shades AND a duochrome shadow!

I received the matte shadow in the shade “Cocoa Bear” which is one of the shades I really wanted to try!  This is a warm, rich, reddish brown which reminds me of Mac’s swiss chocolate.

The duochrome shadow is in the shade “Mai Tai” which is an apricot base with orchid reflects.  I don’t have many duochrome shadows so this is really exciting!!

Just like last month, we received 6 products this month!  This really was a fantastic box!

Stand out products this month:

  • Luxie Small Contour Brush
  • Makeup Geek Shadows!
