Chosungah 22 Bounce Up Pact Master Foundation

There are days where I just don’t have time (or don’t want) to apply liquid foundation.

Even though it’s my favorite form of foundation, it can be time consuming and sometimes messy.

Enter….powder foundation.

I can get some coverage and powder my face all at the same time!  It’s the best of both worlds!

Today’s review is on a newer powder foundation I recently discovered.

Available in 4 shades.

I purchased mine in the color natural.

What it is:
A long-lasting, unique powder foundation with a bouncy formula that leaves a velvety finish.

What it does:
Once it’s applied, this foundation’s bouncy, high-coverage formula softly melts on skin and doesn’t smudge. Non-sticky and long-lasting, it smoothly delivers coverage and imparts a delicate, velvety radiance. Infused with moisturizing camellia oil, evening primrose oil, bladderwrack, African walnut oil, and sea buckthorn fruit extract, it hydrates and evens the skintone. Formulated with peptides and anemarrhena asphodeloides extract, this foundation hydrates and supports the skin’s elasticity while creating a silky, flawless finish. Just apply a second layer to areas where you want fuller coverage.

This has a very interesting consistency.  It’s not your typical solid powder foundation.

It is described as a cream to powder foundation.

It does have a bit of “bounce”.  It reminds me of the Maybelline dream bouncy blushes.

The first time I used this, I pressed into the powder too hard and totally disformed the foundation.  It looked so ugly!  Luckily it’s easy to put back into shape,  but it’s something to be cautious of.

I wouldn’t say this has full coverage, but can be built up to a medium coverage.

The great thing about this product is it doesn’t leave me looking too powdery or cakey.  It gives my skin some hydration and looks more natural, but doesn’t leave me greasy or oily.

My shade is supposed to be for medium skin with yellow undertones, but I feel this definitely runs light!  Since there are only four shades to choose from there will be quite a few skin tones left out of the running.

This does come with a sponge, but I actually preferred applying this foundation with a brush.

This has pretty good staying power (about 5-6 hours of wear before starting to break down).

It also didn’t make my combination skin an oily mess (I only blotted twice throughout the day) so I appreciate that!!

This also contains SPF50 which is amazing!!

Final Verdict:

I think this is a great foundation for my “natural” days when I don’t wear a lot of makeup.  It gives just enough coverage and is SO easy to apply!
I can also see this being great when I travel as I can easily touch up on the go.

The only downside for me is the lack of shades.  So many people will have to miss out on this product since it doesn’t have nearly enough shades.

To be fair, this is a Korean brand so it’s understandable that there are mostly light shades, but if you’re going to branch out to American consumers, you should think about expanding your shade range!

Wishing you a beautiful and wonderful day!!

xoxo Lizzie♥

    1. Doesn’t it? They did an amazing job with the packaging! It’s going to be a little too light for me in the summer though.

      2. I meant light as in color not coverage. It actually has great coverage for the type of product. But you’re right. I think this is perfect for those days when you don’t want a face full of makeup!
