Let’s Finish This!!!

I don’t know about you…but, sometimes my makeup collection grows faster than I can handle!

It’s honestly a mix of my undying need to shop and try new products plus receiving products from my monthly subscription boxes (Ipsy, Boxycharm, and Birchbox).

I try to “play fair” and rotate my products so now one gets left out, but I’m imperfect and I tend to stick to my favorites.

So I decided to challenge myself!

I picked out a few key products and will only be using those particular products from now until the end of the Spring season.

I am hoping to finish the products I’ve already hit pan on and hit pan on all the other products.

This is just for fun and I’m not going to be harsh on myself if this goal doesn’t happen.

Here are the products in the ring this time around!

  •  Loreal La Palette Nude 2:

I purchased this last May and very rarely reach for it even though I remember loving it!

  • Laura Geller Blush N Brighten Baked Blush in “Pink Grapefriut”:

(pictured on left side)

I’m a little embarrassed to admit that this was a product from my February 2015 (YIKES!) Birchbox.

  • Wet n Wild Coverall Pressed Powder in “Tan”:

One of the reasons I so seldom reach for this is because the shade is slightly too dark for me.  But I’m determined to make it work!

  • Pixi by Petra Beauty Bronzer in “Summertime”:

(pictured on right)

I received this in my May 2015 Ipsy bag.  I like the bronzer although I wish it wasn’t so shimmery.

  • Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer in “Light”:

Since purchasing my Bare Minerals concealer REVIEW HERE, I have rarely reached for this concealer.

  • Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer:

This is another Ipsy bag discovery (December 2015 bag).  I really do love this primer and just wanted an excuse to use it more!!

  • Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in “Soft and Gentle”:

I’m embarrassed to admit….I can’t remember when I bought this.  I know it hasn’t been longer than 2 years but still!  I love this bad boy and want to get the most use out of it that I possibly can!

So that’s it!  Let’s see how much progress can be made in the next few months!  Wish me luck!

Have a beautiful and wonderful day everyone!

xoxo Lizzie♥

  1. Fingers crossed! I know how it is when your beauty stash just eeps growing – but nothing gets finished. The palette looks really nice, by the way. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with it again. 🙂

    1. Glad I’m not alone! I know my makeup collection is nowhere near as large as others but it still feels overwhelming sometimes. Have you tried the loreal palette?

  3. I was just looking through all my makeup on Saturday and thinking about how I need to add some things back into the rotation. I have the  original Loreal La Palette Nude  and I really like it too. I need to get it out and give it some more love.

    1. I really wanted to get the original palette! Warmer tones are more up my alley. I just wanted to try something different which is why I purchased the second one, which is still beautiful. I will probably end up purchasing the first one at some point!!

      2. My local CVS had a 40% off all loreal products a few weeks ago and I missed it! That would have been the perfect time to pick it up!!
