June 2016 Ipsy

Good morning ladies!!

I am so excited to share with you the items I received in this month’s ipsy bag!

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that is $10.  It contains makeup, skin care, hair products and other beauty related items.  You take a beauty quiz first and they pick out 5 products for you each month.

The theme this month is:  “Rebel Rebel”

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in “Lounge”:

This multifaceted shadow switches up its look in different lighting.  Lounge is a decadent reddish-brown topped with teal-green shimmer.

I was crossing my fingers and toes hoping I would get this shade!!  It looks stunning!

Doucce Boombastic Lash Volumizer Mascara

This thickening formula and fat wand work better together.  The innovative brush coats all lashes evenly.  Won’t smudge or flake.

I received another Doucce mascara a few months back in my Boxycharm and I wasn’t in love with the formula.  I’m willing to give this one a try and see if it performs a little better.

Boo-Boo Cover Up:

Dark circles, bug bites, scars, wounds, acne and more.  Heals while it conceals.

I have never heard of this product before.  It sounds fantastic though!

Liptini Cream lip Color in Pinktini:

Warm rose with a hint of mauve.  Soft and subtle glossed finish.  An ultra nourishing formula that helps you achieve pink perfection.

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub:

High caffeine content increases blood-flow and circulation to reduce the appearance of cellulite.  Fights stretch marks, acne and scarring, hydrates and nourishes and removes anything that feels dry or flaky.

Normally, I wouldn’t be excited over something like this, but I’m surprisingly really curious to see how this works.  It is like nothing else I have ever tried before!

Stand out products this month:

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow
  • Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub

  1. I really love the rebel theme going on the packaging of the box and the eye shadow from UD is spot on and what a gorgeous double toned shade. Brilliant! Also, the coffee scrub is great for fading away stretch marks. Lovely post

    1. I love receiving full size products!! It doesn’t always happen but I love when it happens. I was so excited about the urban decay shadow but it’s lacking pigmentation. 😦

Yes, I’ve heard that the shade from Wet n Wild palette Comfort Zone is similar and more pigmented. Ah well, you could layer this over a dark creamy eye shadow base to make it pop!

      2. You’re 100% right. The wet n wild shade is amazing! And it’s way less expensive!! Great suggestion about layering it! I will give that a try!

  3. very jealous! I like your bag way more than mine. I was hoping for the UD eyeshadow but instead got the Balm eyeshadow single:/

    1. I received the Balm shadow a few months ago so they couldn’t put it in my bag again. I was so happy to receive the UD shadow but it’s not as pigmented as I was expecting. 😦
